CRIM Spikers dethrone CBEA Blockers, 2-0

With successful teamwork, equal distribution of mighty spikes, powerful blocks, minimizing errors, and great floor defence the College of Criminology lorded-over the College of Business Education and Accountancy in menís volleyball with set scores of 2-0 victory held at LCC Carlos R. Mojares Gymnasium, April 21.
The gymnasium was heated up with the powerful exchange of spikes and blocks in the first set. With excellent passing and great communication in the court, the CRIM spikers made the CBEA blockers struggle and forced them to use couple of time-outs at 18-13, 23-16 and 23-19 scores. The executives still did not lose hope as they made the future cops made an error resulting forceful time-out in 23-22 score.
Refuelled from their break, the spikers outsmarted the blockers and pinned their score as they ended the set, 25-22.
On the second set, there was no doubt that the moral of the blockers was down as they started 5-0 and just got their first point via an attack error from the spikers. Undeniably, the spikers got the momentum and exposure against the struggling blockers.
The future executives made a time-out at 11-5 score trying to outsmart the cops in the game but the latter showed the mesmerized crowd their class and character. Spikers did not give any chance to the blockers to snatch the momentum and continued dominating them visible in 20-11 score. The Spikers finished the game, 25-14 and defeated CBEA.
