Masquerade Party 2017: The LCC Christmas Celebration

Lipa City Colleges held its Masquerade Party 2017 on December 14, 2017 at Carlos R. Mojares Gymnasium with the theme "Believe in the Magic of the Season: LCC Fabulous @70".
The celebration started with an opening prayer led by Dr. Kristine June Capili, Head of Health Services followed by the welcome message from Dr. Dina Catalina Dayon, VP for Academic Affairs. Ms. Glecy B. Mojares, President, Dr. Joe Vincent J. Abiera, Vice President for Administration and Corporate Affairs, Dr. Marjorie Abiera, Vice President for Finance together with their kids were also present during the party.
The event was divided into three segments which included Games, Employees' Christmas Presentation and Mr. & Ms. Q&A. In order to win, the group should have a great amount of unity ,teamwork and sportsmanship. In the end declared winners were : the Red and Black teams for the game "Hayp Himig", the Silver team for the game "Petmalu Lodi" while the Red team for "Werpalahu".
The Christmas celebration as a tradition included a birthday surprise for the president, Ms. Glecy Mojares, which was participated by the selected student assistants, employees and department heads.
Christmas Presentations from the different departments were the most awaited part during the Christmas Party. As always . LCC believes in the talents of the faculty and staff thus the completion is a way of proving who is the best among the rest . All teams exerted a lot of efforts in the preparation of their performances showcasing their talents in singing and dancing. The Silver, Black and Red team bagged the third place, second place and first place respectively.
The third part of the party was the Mr. & Ms. Q&A portion. Two participants, (male and female) represented each team. They were asked funny questions where participants answered in an amusing and logical way.Ms. Sharmaine Sambayan from Silver team and Mr. Niño Galacgac from Gold team were recognized as Mr. and Ms. Q&A winners.
Surprise and special awards were also given during the party. Mr. Jeric Omar Famanila was chosen as Mr. LCC Fabulous and Ms. Mary Grace Adaya was the Ms. LCC Fabulous.
In his closing remarks, Dr. Joe Vincent J. Abiera, wished everyone a happy Christmas and encouraged them to continue supporting LCC by taking active part in the institution programs and activities Also, he mentioned that the management has a lot of plans for the improvements and innovations of the institution emphasizing that the cooperation and support of the whole LCC community members will be vital to make it possible.
The spirit of cooperation, camaraderie and oneness were witnessed throughout the party to the delight and excitement of all.
